THE FORMATION PROFESSIONAL KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
The area of ​​professional activity includes logistics specialist research methods and technologies aimed at the development and optimization of logistics management solutions to various industries.
Logistics Specialist during training forms such competence:
– Planning (ability to use approaches to research planning and procurement, production, distribution, transport, warehousing activities);
– Motivation (study of different types of industrial enterprises and assessment of income);
– Organizational (the ability to logically and consistently teach research results for further practical use);
– Management (ability to examine operational and commercial activities of industrial enterprises);
– Coordination (ability to investigate economic phenomena and processes to coordinate work divisions);
– Analytical (ability to analyze the economic activities of industrial enterprises) competence.

TEACHING
Preparation providing qualified training of teachers, researchers, practitioners and methodological experienced staff. Of teaching provided logistics training-methodical publications, including training manuals and textbooks. Basic education and qualification of the teaching staff correspond to the problems have read disciplines of department.

LABOR MARKET
Today we are witnessing a boom in design and production logistics centers in Ukraine and modern storage facilities. Increased attention to the use of logistics technology challenges associated with rapid catching up on national logistics infrastructure average level and increasing use of outsourcing strategies logistics domestic enterprises and trading companies. However, the widespread use of logistics in practice economic activities due to the need to reduce the total cost of the enterprise and access to international markets as a competitive enterprise that can achieve using logistic tools.
Logistics Specialist can take in industry, trade, services various positions: president, vice director of logistics, head of integrated service logistics, head of the regional distribution center, managing material flows, integrated logistics manager, head of sales, analyst logistics planning, head of production, forwarder, supply manager, sales manager, a transport analyst, customs broker.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
The educational program aimed at developing managers of industrial, commercial enterprises and service industries with different ownership and organizational forms of systemic view of logistics and supply chain management, the introduction of modern concepts and technologies used by leading enterprises in industrialized countries in logistics, the development of knowledge and skills in strategic planning, organization and management of logistics enterprise system, to solve the problems of cross-functional and inter-organizational logistics coordination, the development of practical skills in forming a network structure and supply chain management, for integrated planning and controlling the activities of contractors in the supply chain.

The primary task of the department is to train qualified professionals who have high-quality computer knowledge, financial and economic training, enhanced foreign language skills, are able to determine the problem from a systems perspective.
